  • Full-time Youth Minister for Saskatoon parishes of St. Peter the Apostle and St. Michael

    The Parishes of St. Peter the Apostle and St. Michael are seeking an outgoing and engaging full-time Youth Minister to become part of our parish ministry team. The Youth Minister will be responsible to provide ministry to the youth and families of both parish communities. The Youth Minister will be responsible to provide ministry to our five elementary schools, as well as teach Sacramental Preparation (Reconciliation, Communion and Confirmation) to school-age children. In addition to providing a parish presence in our schools the successful applicant will plan, organize and execute regular youth events for grades 3 to 8 in accordance with our parish vision for youth ministry.

     

    Applicants are to have their WYCACYM Certificate in Youth Ministry or equivalent or be currently enrolled in WYCACYM. Applicants who have completed Layformation or are currently enrolled in Layformation are encouraged to apply. Applicants must have 3 – 5 years of experience in youth ministry and be able to clearly demonstrate a strong track record in planning, organizing and executing well in youth ministry and youth events.

  • Part-time coordinator of Aboriginal Lay Formation

    The Roman Catholic Diocese of Saskatoon, SK is seeking a quarter-time (40 hours per month) Aboriginal Lay Formation Coordinator. The Aboriginal Lay Formation Coordinator, reporting to the Director of Pastoral Services and working collaboratively with the Diocesan and Eparchial Lay Formation Coordinators, is called to walk with adult Aboriginal Catholics as they facilitate their personal faith formation

    Due to the nature of employment, candidates must be confirmed practicing Roman Catholics of Aboriginal heritage in good standing with the Church.

    Salary is in accordance with the Salary Grids for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Saskatoon.

    Accountant - Finance Department Reporting to the Financial Administrator

    Principal responsibilities: supervising and training accounting staff; preparing financial statements, assisting with budget preparation and audit files; overseeing payroll and benefit plan administration; assisting with special projects, development of policies and procedures.

    Qualifications: a professional accounting designation or enrolled in a CPA program preferred; minimum of five years’ experience in financial management preferred; experience with non-profit sector would be an asset.

  • Summer student position with Saskatoon Pregnancy Options Centre

    The Saskatoon Pregnancy Options Centre is seeking a mature, confident person to fill a summer student position from mid May to the end of August. The 30-hour-per-week position consists of answering phones, greeting clients and visitors, working with clients, maintaining Facebook posts and assisting with fundraising. The candidate must have been a full time student this year and registered for full time classes in a post-secondary institution in the fall.
