    Casual/Relief Custodian(s) 

    The Cathedral of the Holy Family requires an experienced custodian (individual or couple) to provide fill-in vacation relief work from July 28th to August 20th for 30-35 hours per week. Evening and weekend availability is required, including for overnight hall cleanup on Saturday nights.

     Duties would include basic janitorial work as well as some table and chair setup and/or takedown. Janitorial experience in a commercial environment is preferred. Must be able to follow detailed instructions and work with minimal supervision.

  • Full-time Youth Minister for Saskatoon parishes of St. Peter the Apostle and St. Michael

    Youth Minister

    The Parishes of St. Peter the Apostle and St. Michael in the Diocese of Saskatoon are seeking an outgoing and engaging full-time Youth Minister to become part of our parish ministry team.

    The Youth Minister will be responsible to provide ministry to the youth and families of both parish communities. The Youth Minister will be responsible to provide ministry to our five elementary schools, as well as teach Sacramental Preparation (Reconciliation, Communion and Confirmation) to school-age children. In addition to providing a parish presence in our schools the successful applicant will plan, organize and execute regular youth events for grades 3 to 8 in accordance with our parish vision for youth ministry.

     

    Applicants are to have their Certificate in Youth Ministry or equivalent or be currently pursuing it. Applicants who have completed Lay Formation or are currently enrolled in Lay Formation are encouraged to apply. Applicants must have 3 – 5 years of experience in youth ministry and be able to clearly demonstrate a strong track record in planning, organizing and executing well in youth ministry and youth events.
