Marriage Task Force - Mission Statement

The Diocesan Task Force on Marriage, through mutual support and witnessing, wish to share their enthusiasm for the sacrament of marriage. Recognizing this sacrament as a bond created by God, we will provide and create enriching resources that can be accessed by all married and engaged couples.

Members of the Marriage Task Force are available to speak to interested groups across the diocese as well as to act as a resource where requested.

Saskatoon Marriage Network - 

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Saskatoon is one of the local faith communities participating in the Saskatoon Marriage Network, which is organizing a marriage enrichment event in Saskatoon April 27-30, 2017. 

The events will be held at Circle Drive Alliance, 3035 Preston Ave, Saskatoon, and will feature Dave and Donalyn Currie of Doing Family Right Ministries 

  •  Minister’s Luncheon/Workshop Thursday, April 27  for pastors/ ministry leaders: lunch followed by workshop on issues and challenges related to pornography. 
  •  Marriage 2.0 for couples married 20-plus years, or those over age 45 in a second marriage, will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, April 28 ($99/couple before April 7).
  •  i-Parent from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Friday, April 28 ($10/person) will tackle the topics of leaving a spiritual impact on your kids and raising confident children. 
  • Marriage Fusion 2:1, a powerful marriage-building experience for all married couples, with a special focus on those married less than 20 years, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 29 ($99 per couple before April 7).
