Finance Committee
The establishment of the Finance Committee of the Saskatoon Diocese is hereby
confirmed in accordance with Cannon 492,s.1 of the Code of Canon Law. The purpose
of the Finance Committee is to assist the Diocesan Bishop and his administration
with financial matters of the Diocese.
Members of the Diocesan Finance Committee are:

Parish Development Fund
The Parish Development Fund (PDF) was established to provide a means for parishes to assist each other with the financing of capital projects. Parishes are requested to deposit surplus funds in the PDF. The PDF has a December 31 year-end.
Parishes requiring funds may make application for a loan from the PDF. All
funds are loaned at 5 per cent interest per annum. Parishes are required to
make monthly payments. The preferred term for loans is five years. This may
vary depending on the circumstances.
